June 10, 2012

So I skipped a day. Sue me. (actually, don't sue me, i was just kidding. duh.) :P Besides, I just so happen to have a REALLY good reason for why I didn't write anything yesterday. I just didn't have any time! I was babysitting a 9 month old and a 4 year old from 8-3:30 and then I went straight to my friend Jess's graduation party and then I got home at midnight, but my friend spent the night and then when we woke up this morning we went shopping because she needed a new swim suit and we were going to go to a water park, but then we ended up not going, and then we went back to my house and I had to get ready for work and then she left at the same time as I left for work and then I just got off work. So yea, no time. Anywayz, back to the babysitting. I LOVE those kids, but little boys are a handful. The 4 year old kept saying "damnit damnit, daddy says damnit." I had to keep telling him that damnit is a bad word, but he didn't believe me... Oh well, not my kid, so therefore, not my problem. lol Then, at the graduation party, we went through 3000 water balloons in about 10 minutes. We were all kinda sad that we ran out of them that fast... :P But then after that we ate food and then cake and then we blew bubbles for like an hour and a half. :) And then we had golf cart/ lawn mower races and made a bonfire and ate s'mores :) they were yummy [: and then Katy, Sarah and I decided that we wanted to go to a water part today, but then Sarah couldn't go. So Katy spent the night at my house. When we woke up we went to the mall and we went to the little accessory store, where everything is a dollar and I bought a bunch of nail art polish and two rings. The rings are both like really awesome. One of them is little and silver and has a little crosshatchy design on it and the other one is gold and it is a cheetah's head and it's tail wraps around my finger and it is AWESOME!:D And then we went to Auntie Anne's and bought pretzel nuggets! They are little pretzels in a cup and I so I asked for a cup of pretzels and the lady working there looked at me like I was a freak. But then she stamped my frequent pretzel card so that was all good. :D I also got lemonade. It was quite tasty. :) Then, we were walking to hot topic when we passed the As Seen On TV store and Katy doesn't have a TV (I know, weird right?) so she didn't know what anything was so we walked inside and the guy who was working there wouldn't stop talking to us and trying to sell us stuff. I told him that I already own like everything they sell there because every time my grandpa see's as infomercial he calls and orders whatever it was for a bunch of people. It didn't help. We were trapped and so we had to do the whole fake a phone call with an emergency on the other end trick. After that he left us alone. So that was good. At Hot Topic we found this really cool bracelet that looks like stones that go around the wrist, but then it turns into bones at the top and it has like each finger on it with a ring at the top so its like an exoskeleton for your hand. It was awesome. But it didn't fit me very well so I didn't buy it. Otherwise I would have... Katy and I eventually ended up at PacSun, where she ended up buying her swim suit. There was this REALLY cute guy that works there and he kept like kinda, but not really flirting with us. He was obviously gay, but he was AWESOME! I wasn't going to buy anything there, but then we were walking out of the store when I spotted it. The most amazing t shirt ever. It is a white tank top with glasses and a mustache on it. :D So I bought it. And then Katy and I got ice cream and left the mall. Then, Katy's brother came to my house and picked her up and I went to work. At work, (I am a hostess at a restaurant) people often come in and joke around a lot. Especially because the restaurant I work at is in a hotel, so people often times come in after a long day of traveling. These three people come in (two girls and a guy, all like 40-50 years old.) The guy comes up and goes "Two adults and one kid, please!" and one of the ladies says "yea, HE'S the kid!" and then he put both of his hands in the mint bowl and goes "Are these free?" all excitedly and then I sat them at a booth next to these two Asian guys. Like 15 minutes after they were seated, Haley (my coworker) and I were cleaning menus and the guy from that table came up and was like "the guy at the table next to us needs medical attention, he's like choking" and Haley and I thought he was like joking and we were just kinda like u-huh, yeah... that's cool lol. But then he was like, "No really, he is like dying call 911" and so we looked over and he was like all passing out and stuff. So I called and ambulance. And then when they got here, the guy got up and walked out. Wtf? You are supposed to wait for them to come to you! Weird people... Then there were TWO people who left their credit cards behind. Poor unloved, abandoned, small pieces of plastic... Anywayz, then I got off work and went home and got on the internet, and yeah... obviously this is what I chose to do with my time before I go to bed... :P LATER PEEPS! :)

June 8, 2012

Hello fellow citizens of planet Earth! I come on here to tell you about how I made a difference in someone's life today. :D actually, quite a few people's lives actually. I'm sure that you are probably thinking something along the lines of "great, someone who thinks they changed the world because they did charity work." and that's pretty much what I did! I went to Feed My Starving Children! :) To those of you who don't know what that is: it is a charity that makes bags of food containing chicken, vegetables, soy, and rice that are shipped off to third world countries so that the children that receive them can make a meal that is made to renourish malnourished children. One box of this food will keep an entire family completely fed for weeks! The entire group I was with made enough boxes (66) to feed 50 children for an entire year! That's a lot of kids. However, the whole group was split into smaller groups. One group per station. Each station was named after one of the countries that the food would be sent to. I was in the Haiti station. My group broke the record! :D the previous record was 28 boxes in a two hour session. This session was only an hour and we made 24! :D it was so much fun, and I wish I could do it more often. I can't, however, because groups have to sign up to do it. You can't just show up and be like "hey, I'm doing this now." I mean, the place has to organize when who can do what.
So, yeah. That is pretty much all I did today. Unless you include eating breakfast at Burnt Toast. I'd never been there before until this morning. It was really good.
Anywayz, I am tired and I have to get up early tomorrow morning because I am babysitting. So until next time... I should come up with some kind of catch phrase or slogan or something to end all these with... Lol :) bye! Kind of. :)

June 7, 2012

hmm... where should I start? Lets begin with last night. Sarah came over and we made duct tape shoes! :D I attempted to add them to here, but idk if it worked or not so.. fingers crossed! hmm... what else have I accomplished.. like absolutely nothing. lol I was going to start cleaning my room so that it will be easier to pack for college, but then I decided not to... :) I finally saw "The Avengers" today! :) that was fun I guess. However, I didn't actually watch any of the superhero movies leading up to that one so I didn't really know who any of them were... I mean except like obviously Captain America, The Hulk, and Iron Man... But seriously, I have no idea who the girl or the guy with the bow and arrow were... please someone help me with this! lol :) So, there's this guy. I really like him, and he obviously like me too... except we are both going away to college and they are like really far apart from each other. And also, neither of us wants a long distance relationship. Is it worth dating for the summer, even though we both know that we would break up before leaving? I feel like its not... but also like it totally is. I am at war with myself over this subject. We are going to hang out tomorrow I think. At least, we made plans to, but sometimes those things don't always work out. I hate planning ahead. Its too much work and nothing ever turns out to go as planned... Spontaneity always works out much better for me... :) Sorry about the randomness and lack of flow in this post... I'm feeling rather random and scatter brained at the moment. I guess it doesn't really help that I am currently engaged in like twelve conversations right now either though... OMG! Do you want to know what like really bothers me? When people ask me if I have ever done drugs or drank. Because then when I tell them no because I honestly never have, people never believe me! I mean seriously, whats the point in asking if you're not going to believe the answer? I don't understand people... Anywayz, overall it was an extremely boring day because I literally did not do anything. soooo yea. until next time! :)

June 6, 2012

Hi everyone! I know its been like FOREVER since the last time that I posted anything, but I do have a really good reason. I do realize that it has been a year and a half, but in that time I have accomplished more than I ever thought I would. What did I do you ask? I was tech crew for nine shows, five of them I was stage manager, which is a huge deal. I was captain of my color guard team (flag core.) I got a job, which is really boring but whatever. I mean, a hostess cant really do much when there are no customers coming and going. I got accepted into my college of choice (YAY!) and I graduated high school! :) I did a ton more than that as well, but I'm not going to go into too much detail. Especially not with the boy I dated for a year. He is sooo history. :) Besides, I've got my eye on someone else now. Although, it really doesn't matter very much because I am leaving the state of Illinois in August for college. I cant wait! Anyway, now that I am done with going to school for 8+ hours Monday through Friday, I figure that I will probably have enough spare time to keep up with this blog. First thing on my to do list with it is to change my picture. Its over a year old! I look so different now. However, I am unable to do that right now because I am not on my computer that actually has pictures on it... Do people even still read blogs these days? I don't even know. lol. If you cant tell by now, I am obviously not used to having all this spare time. I mean, I've been out of school for two weeks now, and I am STILL practically bored out of my mind. Anyone have any hobby suggestions? I'm thinking about vlogging, but my mom wouldn't like that very much and the videos I have on youtube right now are pretty embarrassing, so Id have to get a new account. Is it worth it? I'm also not very good at talking to cameras... Perhaps I should start knitting... lol I am totally just kidding. I already know how to knit! But I absolutely suck at it. I already have singing as a hobby, but I don't think I could really continue it (at least not until I start school) Perhaps I could start gymnastics! yea right... I wish though. I have the coordination of a baby learning how to walk. And sometimes its worse. I'm sure you are probably having somewhat of a difficult time believing me about this, but trust me. Ask anyone that knows me in real life, its completely true. In the weeks leading up to my graduation, my guidance counselor hunted me down several times just to tell me that I was not allowed to fall at graduation. And guess what! I didn't! It was a HUGE accomplishment not falling, as everyone expected me to. :) So, my friend Sarah is coming over in a few minutes to go swimming in the hot tub and probably to go out to dinner and maybe shop a little(?) We actually have no idea what we are going to do yet... But that means that I have to go now. But who knows? Maybe I'll come home later and update this to tell you ALL about what we do. But probably not. :P Hopefully I'll actually remember to keep up with this blog this time... lol ta ta for now! :)
